1- Does Recallify listen in on my conversations?

No, Recallify starts recording only when the user presses Record / Ask.

2- Are my recordings transferred / stored in the cloud?

Recallify sends your (audio/ video/text) content for state-of-the-art transcription and AI processing in the cloud. Your file is processed temporarily in the cloud but not saved or stored online. Your audio & video files stay on your device.

3- Are my memories stored securely?

Yes, your transcriptions and related metadata are stored on Recallify’s secure cloud servers with double-layer encryption (client-side and server-side). For more details, check out our Privacy Policy.

4- Can I access my recordings / transcriptions from multiple devices?

Your imported files (text/audio/video) or captured voice recording stay on the original device you used for importing/recording. However, you can access the contents & summaries & AI-generated questions for your content from multiple devices.

5- Can I share my recordings/memories with others?

Absolutely! There’s a “Share” button at the top of every recorded memory. This lets you share an audio file along with the accompanying transcription and metadata (in .txt format) via email, messaging, or any other platform.

6- What happens to the recordings I delete?

Your (audio/video) recordings are stored only on your device. When you delete them, they are gone for good!

7- Do Recallify’s AI Service providers use my data to train their models?

No user data is used to train / improve our AI Service Providers’ models.

8- How can I delete my account?

You can delete your account through the “Delete Account” button in Recallify’s Settings section. Please note, the app will ask you to reauthorise to proceed with account deletion if you have not authorised recently. If you are having difficulty with your account deletion, you can contact us / request account deletion on info@recallify.ai.

9- Can I download my data if I stop using Recallify?

Yes. You can export individual recordings and transcriptions directly from the app at any time. If you would like a copy of all personal data associated with your account, you can request this by contacting info@recallify.ai. We will provide your data in a structured, commonly used format in line with GDPR requirements.

10- Does Recallify work offline?

Yes, your recordings and notes are always available offline. Cloud access is only used when you request AI-powered features such as transcription, summary generation, task extraction, or quiz creation.

11- How does Recallify protect my data?

Recallify uses double-layer encryption (client-side and server-side) and complies with GDPR, ICO, Cyber Essentials requirements. No user data is ever used to train AI models. Your recordings and transcriptions remain private and under your control at all times.

12- Does Recallify share my data third parties?

Recallify shares no user data with any third party for any reason.

13- How can I Request a refund?

Recallify subscriptions are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store (depending on your device). The store takes payment and manages subscriptions, so refund requests must be submitted directly to the store. We do not have access to your payment method and cannot issue refunds ourselves. The platform-specific refund request pages are as follows: Apple (iPhone or iPad)and Google Play (Android).

14- How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel via your device’s subscription settings.

On iPhone or iPad: Settings → Apple ID (your name) → Subscriptions → Recallify → Cancel

On Android: Google Play Store → Profile icon (top right) → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → Recallify → Cancel
