1- Does Recallify listen in on my conversations?

No. Recallify starts recording only when you press Record / Ask.

2- Are my recordings transferred or stored in the cloud?

Recallify sends your audio, video, or text content to the cloud for transcription and AI processing. Your file is processed there only temporarily and is not saved or stored online — it is deleted once processing is complete, so the lasting copy of your original recording stays on your device.

3- Are my memories stored securely?

Yes. Your transcriptions and related metadata are stored on secure cloud servers and are encrypted in transit and at rest. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.

4- Can I access my recordings and transcriptions from multiple devices?

Your imported files (text, audio, or video) and captured voice recordings stay on the original device you used. However, you can access the resulting content, summaries, and AI-generated questions from multiple devices.

5- Can I share my recordings and memories with others?

Yes. There's a "Share" button at the top of every recorded memory. It lets you share the audio file along with the transcription and metadata (in .txt format) by email, messaging, or any other platform.

6- What happens to the recordings I delete?

We don't keep your original recordings — the lasting copy stays on your device. When you delete a recording, it's gone for good: deletion is permanent and we do not keep backups.

7- Do Recallify's AI service providers use my data to train their models?

No. None of our AI service providers use your content to train or improve their models.

8- How can I delete my account?

You can delete your account using the "Delete Account" button in Recallify's Settings. The app may ask you to re-authenticate to confirm if you haven't signed in recently. If you have any difficulty, contact us at info@recallify.ai and we can help.

9- Can I download my data if I stop using Recallify?

Yes. You can export individual recordings and transcriptions directly from the app at any time. If you would like a copy of all personal data associated with your account, request it at info@recallify.ai and we will provide it in a structured, commonly used format, in line with UK GDPR.

10- Does Recallify work offline?

Yes. Your recordings and notes are always available offline. Cloud access is only used when you request AI-powered features such as transcription, summary generation, task extraction, or quiz creation.

11- How does Recallify protect my data?

Recallify encrypts your data in transit and at rest, is registered with the ICO, holds Cyber Essentials certification, and handles your data in line with UK GDPR. No user data is ever used to train AI models, and your recordings and transcriptions stay under your control.

12- Does Recallify share my data with third parties?

We never sell your data, and we never share it for advertising or marketing. The only third parties who process your content are the service providers that run Recallify's core features — such as transcription and AI processing — and they act for us under strict contracts and cannot use your data for their own purposes.

13- How can I request a refund?

Recallify subscriptions are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play (depending on your device). The store takes payment and manages subscriptions, so refund requests must be made directly to the store — we do not have access to your payment method and cannot issue refunds ourselves. You can request a refund from Apple (iPhone or iPad) or Google Play (Android).

14- How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel any time through your device's subscription settings:

• On iPhone or iPad: Settings > Apple ID (your name) > Subscriptions > Recallify > Cancel.
• On Android: Google Play > Profile (top right) > Payments and subscriptions > Subscriptions > Recallify > Cancel.
