Accessibility at Recallify

Recallify is assistive software for people whose disability affects memory, attention, information processing or executive function. Accessibility matters to us as a principle and because it is what the product is for. This page sets out what Recallify offers, how it works with assistive technology and where it still falls short, and it contains our formal accessibility statement.

Accessibility features

Recallify offers dark mode, adjustable background colours and adjustable font size. Content can be reviewed as audio, as a timestamped transcript or as a structured summary, so you can use whichever suits you and move between them. Notes and tasks can be captured by voice as well as by typing.

Recallify is used by people with visual impairment, including screen reader users.

Using Recallify with your own settings and software

Our September 2026 testing found that you should be able to:

• zoom in to 200% without content or controls being lost
• move through most of Recallify using only a keyboard
• use most of Recallify with a screen reader; we test with NVDA

The exceptions we know about are listed under Non-accessible content below.

Your device and browser have accessibility settings of their own, such as text size, colour and contrast, and these apply to Recallify like any other app. AbilityNet’s My Computer My Way explains how to change them, and Apple and Google publish guides to accessibility on iPhone and iPad and accessibility on Android.

Accessibility statement for Recallify

This statement applies to Recallify, the app run by TinieAI Ltd. Recallify is built from a single codebase across every platform it runs on, so the findings below apply wherever you use it.

Our accessibility testing has shown that Recallify is partially compliant with the WCAG 2.2 AA standard, as defined in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. We are working towards full WCAG 2.2 AA compliance. More detail is given below.

Improving accessibility

At Recallify, accessibility is part of our normal development process rather than a separate exercise. We run automated scans (axe DevTools, WAVE and Lighthouse) alongside manual testing, and we test the journeys people use end to end rather than screens in isolation. Our manual testing covers keyboard-only navigation, screen reader use, colour contrast measurement, zoom to 200% and narrow screen widths.

New features are tested for accessibility while they are being built, and we retest existing areas as we return to them. Our current priorities are making every screen easier to use with a screen reader or with a keyboard alone, and fixing the colour contrast on the home screen.

Technical information about Recallify’s accessibility

TinieAI Ltd is committed to making Recallify accessible. We are working towards meeting the WCAG 2.2 AA standard and have tested a sample of screens and user journeys across the app.

Compliance status

Recallify is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standard, because of the non-compliances listed below.

Non-accessible content

We know that some parts of Recallify are not yet fully accessible. For example:

• some screens are difficult to move through using a keyboard alone
• the focus indicator on some screens is not visible enough for keyboard users
• some buttons and form fields are not announced with a clear name by screen readers
• some screens do not expose a heading structure to screen readers, so moving around a screen by heading does not always work
• some text on the home screen does not meet the colour contrast requirement

We are working to fix these.

Preparation of this accessibility statement

This statement was prepared on 7 September 2026 and published on 11 September 2026.

The statement is based on our own testing of Recallify against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2, level AA. Recallify was last tested internally in September 2026.

Testing combined automated scanning using axe DevTools, WAVE and Lighthouse with manual testing of keyboard-only navigation, screen reader use, colour contrast measurement, zoom to 200%, narrow screen widths, and the success criteria added in WCAG 2.2. Screen reader testing was carried out using NVDA.

The tests covered a sample of:

• sign-in screen
• home screen
• recording: starting and stopping a recording
• uploading a document
• transcripts
• summaries
• Ask
• tasks, including creating a task, setting a reminder and marking a task complete
• quizzes
• settings, including changing the font size and logging out

We consider accessibility during design and development and will continue to make improvements as we update Recallify.
