Cognitive support for memory, attention and everyday tasks

Education

Recallify for universities, colleges and schools

Cognitive support for students with ADHD, dyslexia, brain injury and cognitive fatigue: lectures, seminars and placements captured, summarised and turned into study material and tasks, licensed by the service that supports them.

What gets in the way

The problem support services are solving

Disability and student support services are stretched, and students with attention, memory or executive-function difficulties are sitting in lectures they cannot fully capture, reading material they cannot hold in mind, and juggling deadlines without a system that works for them.

Recallify gives each student one place to record or import what they need to remember, get a clear summary, turn it into revision material, and pull tasks and deadlines into their calendar. It is built by clinical neuropsychologists and designed with the people who use it.

Disability and student support services can license Recallify for the students they support, and we provide needs assessors with product information and a demo account on request.

Getting started

Deployment in three steps

  1. Licences for a service or a cohort

Bulk licences for a disability support service, a department or a named group of students, issued and managed centrally.

  2. Onboarding for staff and students

A session for advisers and mentors, plus getting-started material for students so the first week is easy.

  3. Support that carries on

Students keep their own account and their own material. Questions go to a named contact at Recallify.

In use today

Already in use in higher education

A UK university's disability support service licensed Recallify for the students it supports in 2026, the first institutional deployment of the platform. Their story, and what their students say, will be published here with their permission.

  • I use it to record whenever my lecturer is teaching the class something and it generates me questions and a useful summary. I have an ABI and I would recommend it.

App Store review, student, March 2026
  • So helpful for those with ADHD and other memory issues. Reminders, the ability to record thoughts and information, and quizzes to help you process details.

What students get

For the students you support

  • Learning companion

Lecture recordings, slides and notes turned into summaries and quizzes built on active recall and spaced repetition.

  • Task management

Deadlines and to-dos pulled out of what a student captures, given priorities, and sent to their calendar with reminders.

  • Study strategies that work

Free tools

Screening tools for support staff

Free, validated questionnaires that advisers can use in a first conversation with a student. They are screening tools, not diagnoses, and they are scored on the device: answers are not stored.

Evidence

Evidence, data and accessibility

Recallify is being evaluated in an NIHR-funded feasibility study in acquired brain injury and was piloted with adults living with long Covid. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest; we are registered with the ICO, Cyber Essentials certified and work to UK GDPR, and we answer security questionnaires and data protection impact assessments before deployment. Our accessibility statement sets out how the app and this site are tested.

Questions from disability services

How does procurement work?

Licences are invoiced to the institution for an agreed number of students and period. We provide the documentation your procurement and information governance teams ask for, including our data processing details and a completed security questionnaire.

What happens to a student's data?

Each student has their own account and their own material. Recordings, notes and tasks belong to the student; the institution does not see them. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest and handled under UK GDPR. See the privacy policy.

Is the app accessible?

Recallify is designed for people with cognitive difficulties: low reading load, voice capture, clear summaries and reminders. Our accessibility statement describes how we test and how to report a problem.

How long does onboarding take?

Licences can be issued within days of agreement. Staff onboarding is a single session; students are usually capturing their first lecture the same day they install the app.

What happens when a student graduates?

The student keeps their account and their material, and can continue on an individual subscription if they wish. The institution's licence returns to the pool.
